How Does Cheddify Work?

If you've never used a live pay-per-minute call platform, here's exactly what happens when you tap a creator — from browsing to billing.

Cheddify is a marketplace where you pay per-minute to talk to real people over live video. Creators — psychics, coaches, companions, experts, advisors — set their rate, toggle themselves available, and show up in a browsable grid. You tap one, confirm payment, and connect. A meter runs. Hang up when you're done. That's it.

Step 1: Browse the live grid

The main screen shows creators who are available right now. You see their photo, name, per-minute rate, and category. Creators who are offline or busy don't appear. Filter by category (psychics, coaches, wellness, etc.) or tap any card to open their full profile — ratings, reviews, bio, and rate.

Step 2: Tap to connect

Tap Connect Now on a creator you want to talk to. A confirmation screen shows the rate and prompts you to confirm your payment method (takes 30 seconds to add a card the first time). Confirm and Cheddify rings the creator immediately. If they don't answer within a few seconds, you're not charged.

Step 3: The call

Once connected, you're in a live video call. The meter starts the moment the call connects — you'll see elapsed time and running cost in a small overlay. Come in with a specific question. The meter rewards focus: a 10-minute call with a clear question almost always feels better and costs less than a 20-minute call that meanders. Turn your camera on or off at any point; the creator is on video.

Step 4: Hang up and pay

Hang up when you're done. The meter stops immediately. You're billed only for time elapsed — $4/min for 8 minutes = $32; 3 minutes = $12. No minimums, no rounding, no surprises. Accidental early disconnect? You only pay for the time that ran.

Step 5: Rate the call

After hanging up, rate the experience from 1 to 5 stars and optionally leave a written comment. Creators rate you too. Ratings are public and self-correcting — creators with consistently low scores face account review.

How to find creators worth your time

Sort by review count, not just average rating. 60 reviews at 4.5 stars is a safer bet than 2 reviews at 5.0. Read the written comments — they'll tell you whether this creator is strong on love questions, grief, career pivots, or casual conversation. Check the green online indicator before committing. Ready? Browse who's live right now, or read the full guide, the full review, or the safety overview.

Frequently asked questions

What do I see when I tap a creator?

You see their full profile: photo, bio, per-minute rate, aggregate star rating, total call count, and written reviews from past buyers. From there you can tap Connect Now to ring them.

How quickly do creators answer?

Creators who are toggled available are actively watching for incoming calls. Most answer within a few seconds. If they don't answer, you're not charged and can try someone else or check back later.

Can I see the creator's face?

Yes — creators are on video. You can choose to keep your own camera off if you prefer to listen without being on screen. You can turn your camera on at any point during the call.

Can I cancel mid-call?

Yes — hang up anytime. The meter stops the moment you end the call and you're billed only for the time that elapsed. There's no minimum call length and no penalty for short calls.

How is the per-minute rate set?

Creators set their own per-minute rate. You see it on their profile card before you ever tap to connect. Rates typically range from $1 to $10 per minute depending on the creator's experience and category.

What if a creator isn't online?

The live grid only shows creators who are available right now. If no one in your preferred category is online, you can browse other categories or check back later. You can also save a creator's profile and come back when they go live.
